A BIT ABOUT US
We 💛 Yokkaichi!
At Omotenashi-Net Yokkaichi, we work as a team to help travelers learn about our community and the Hokusei region (Northern Mie). We accomplish this goal by volunteering when cruise ships come into town and sharing this information with the passengers when they get off the ship.

We're just getting started! Now is the perfect time to jump in and meet new people. It's a fantastic opportunity to network and learn more about your community.
It's a win/win!

WHAT WE DO
HELPING TRAVELERS DISCOVER MIE
Yokkaichi has many Japanese and international visitors coming to our city. The Diamond Princess cruise ship will be making several port calls throughout the year. It can carry over 2,500 passengers in addition to its large crew of 1,100. Roughly 10% of the Diamond Princess passengers come from countries outside of Japan.
This is a good chance to help them make lasting memories by recommending tours and providing information that will help in discovering the treasures of Yokkaichi and Mie.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We strive to find new strategies for connecting visitors to the community. There are plenty of ways you can help out including graphic design, translation, helping tourists find the right experiences for them, and much more. Our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact.
BUILDING SKILLS
Our goal is to create opportunities for those who want to grow while having fun and meeting people. Through collaboration, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. You can gain experience in leadership, collaboration, communication, and other areas.
